Barbra Lester is a Professional Speaker, Mentor, Coach, Film Maker and Author who is passionate about inspiring people to action! She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts – Film, Television and New Media (QUT), has undertaken studies in Human Services (UQ) and has completed studies in Life Coaching (USA).

Barbra Lester is a survivor of domestic violence who has taken her experience of abuse as the starting point of her journey of self-discovery, empowerment and success. Barbra’s achievements include: Nomination for Australian of the Year 2015, Author of the book Heaven’s Embrace, Ambassador Queensland University of Technology Learning Potential Fund, Recognised by YWCA Queensland as one of 125 Leading Women in Queensland, Australia representing leadership in their state and community. Recognised as a History Maker by History Maker Radio and Television, Australia. Barbra’s exploits have also been covered by the Courier Mail Brisbane.
